Hi, I live in Superior but am going down to the Chetek area to visit some friends. I would like to fish in a contest they are having this weekend on the Chetek chain of lakes. However, I have never been to this area, let alone fished these lakes. I will probably be on either Pokegama or Chetek Lake. Does anyone have any info on these lakes as far as areas to fish, depths, ice/driving conditions, etc? I am not asking anyone to give up any "honey holes." Just some general info and tips since I have never fished these waters. Otherwise, are there any other forums out there that might have the above info posted? Thanks in advance.
