TomBow
I haven't had good experiences with flambeau and Delta foam 3-D turkey decoys. I have heard good things about the Outlaw or Renzo Decoys, these are the flat decoys with real pictures of turkeys printed on them. Anyone used these? Hotspotter
Tombow:No personal experience with the silhouette style decoys, but I have a buddy that won't use them for turkeys. Geese, deer, anything but turkeys. He bowhunts, and has supposedly had the birds freak out at close range with the not there (standing straight on) and all of the sudden there (standing profile). If they work well at further distances for gun-hunters, I have no idea. My guess is that they'd be fine.Just started using the carry-lite's two years ago, and after the first defective batch, I was very happy with their performance. However, they're not as collapsible as I'd like. I like the Cabela's brand dekes too. Not as realistic as the carry-lites, but much more portable, and decent when it comes to color.Joel
