Clear lake, Ia.

Just got back from Clear Lake. Drove on at the island and went to the the area around Hyvee reef. Started fishing at 1500 hours. The fish didn't start until 1615 hours. Caught 12 walleyes, 5 legal with the largest two at 16". Did catch 1 catfish at about 3 lbs. Too bad it wasn't a walleye!!

Thanks for the report. Sounds like Clear Lake is really going well right now from your report and others I have heard/seen. That lake has always had its ups and downs and right now seems to be a really "up" time to take advantage of. The reports I have heard have also mentioned the 3pm-sunset time frame as being best....with a decent morning bite as well. Thanks again
