Trailer Hitch?

Lunker

Question

Looking to have a trailer hitch attached to my car this spring if I can find a trailer for my boat. Was wondering since I'm sure about 90% of fmers have them on, how much it costs to get one and get it attached? Thanks

Something worth checking out is RIGID HITCH - Burnsville, MN.

Excellent company - more variety than Uhaul and others can provide - plus they sell (from stock) exact models to fit exact vehicles - including wiring kits, accessory items and 40 plus years experience - would be worth your while to call them.

A common oversight is gauging the hitch to the vehicle - look around - you'll see people hauling 12,000 lbs. on hitches designed (and certified) for 5,000 lbs. or less.

If you have one installed - be sure to understand the max load you might carry and install an appropriate CERTIFIED hitch for that vehicle.

Just my two-cents - but I have seen many a hitch fail due to less than common sense installations. Also - if you do it cheap, shame on you. mad.gif
