big drift
We use real geese silos just wondering if we could use outlaw or whatever type of silos also without it being to conspicuous. Just curious as to your opinions.later, big drift

big drift
I know a dumb question but ya hear every body elses opinion and start to wonder. I have noticed with ducks that mixing species will make a differance and even at times with different brands as to how they ride in the water, etc. I just do not want to waste money ya know. laterbig drift
MattKeller
The only thing that I would be weary of is your Outlaws. I've seen some of the newer outlaws shine like a mirror. Other than that, geese would like the variety...
Sartell Angler
I have sometimes wondered about this...I think the only way it would hurt you to mix up brands is if you put out a small spread of decoys and some of them were of poor quality...but with a bigger spread, I know we throw out every shell, windsock, and silo we have regardless of how good it looks. I always try and put my best decoys in conspicuous spots in the spread...As far as duck decoys go, obviously some ride the water differently but i don't think ducks really pay attention to that...they are more concerned with looking for movement, finding a spot to land, responding to calling, and judging the overall realism and size of the spread. Late season, we put out all the decoys we have if possible (with the exception of teal and woodies) and usually do quite well.S.A./wdw
