any ice?

i'm up in minnesota wondering if there is any ice back home. i'm hoping to start my nephews ice fishing on crystal lake, illinois. i'ld love to bring them on a trip up here... but the drive is pretty long.

After this cold front we finally have ice again. There is anywhere from open water to about 6 inches. It all depends on where your at but most places have ice. Check the ice as you go.

We have plenty of ice now. Depending on where you're at there is 4-8" I have heard some great, really great reports from guys on Crystal Lake this season. Northern up to 35" and limits of crappie. Good luck out there.
