just wanted to let everyone who owns a warn winch to check out their websight. they have a recall on certain selinoids.it seems atv's just start on fire cuz of this.http://www.warn.com/atv/a2000_recall_notice.shtml.

RECALL AND REPLACEMENT NOTICE

WARN® A2000 WINCHES EQUIPPED WITH THE WHITE RODGERS SOLENOID SOLD BETWEEN NOVEMBER 1, 2000 to MAY 31, 2001

POTENTIAL FIRE HAZARD

There have been recent, isolated reports of ATVs that have experienced fires on units with Warn 2000 lb. winch kits that include a White-Rodgers manufactured solenoid.

These winch kits were sold between approximately November 1, 2000 to May 31, 2001. These fires have occurred when the vehicles were parked and the winches were not being used.

Consumers should immediately disconnect the solenoid wires from their ATV and contact their local ATV dealer or Warn Industries to receive the free replacement solenoid and installation instructions.
