Watertown Area Ice Fishing Help Please???

I will be making my way to SD sunday and want to stop and fish somewhere in the watetown area. I am probly going to go to Pelican lake. Can anyone tell me if I can drive on pelican and whay type of presentations work best for walleye. I am only going to fish for one day and then be on my way. Is there any other lakes worth trying. Any help is appreiciated. Thanks Johnsonator

You can drive on pelican the ice is plenty thick but use caution. Remember the lake is only 7 foot deep so the secret is to be quiet. Drill lots of holes and use a jig and a minnow, also a kastmaster works great because the fish are huge and agressive. Good Luck
