RE: W. Fork

Did anyone fish the Fork last weekend,if so how did you do? I'm thinking about going to the Fork on Wed.

Ya Jeff,

We fished it on Saturday and did very well on the Macs. Didn't fish at all for Pike that day. There was about a foot of snow on the ice. Same bait as usual. 3-4" glow white tube tipped with a 1" strip of sucker meat. They were a little finicky, but we managed to catch 27, between the 2 of us.

Dan, did you go to your usual spot? We will be up there this weekend. Would like to go there 1st, then maybe Granby on Sunday. Do you know when the tourney is at Granby?

I was at the same spot. The 28th-29th and the 30th are the dates for the 3-Lakes contest.

Dan Dan : Are you going to make it up to the fork this weekend? I am planning on fishing Sat,Sun,& Mon mornings. Would like to give Granby a try, maybe even Grand.

Can't make it this weekend (Honey do's).I'll probably walk around the Stock show tommorrow. A buddy of mine is running the fur booth for the Colorado Trappers Assoc.I'm hoping that he will fish the Granby tournament with me this year again. He has the 6 wheel drive Argo, with the track system on it. Nothing can stop it! Don't know if the Rokon will make it out there. Depends on how deep the snow is. Good luck if you fish the Fork.
