Lots of great fishing all up and down that region. Right off the bridge on the Sheyenne River just to the north of #46 is a dam, good for fall walleye and cats. This is just South of Kindred and a 1/4 mile to the East.

If your hunting in the sand hills look for rocky riffle areas on the river and try the pools above and below them. You will find SM Bas and walleye lurking about. Plenty of cats too. Early to mid fall frogs are good. As it cools jigs and fatheads are a good bet as are minnow imitator shallow running cranks. Jigs and big 4-5" twisters will get a few hogs.

Since you out hunting the river area just keep an eye out for good looking bends with lots of wood and backwaters. That type of structure tends to hold fish. A good bend with a mud flat at it's head will be a good spot to fish after dark and may be a handy camp site.

Lots of opportunities ya just need to scout them out.
