I just purchased a new (used) portable and i need to license it, my question is is it legal to have my parents license it for me but they will never be in it? or since im only 15 can i use my drivers permit to license it? Also since i cannot locate my fishing regs, what do i need displayed on the outside? Drivers license number or DNR number, and then name and adress? Sorry for all the questions but i would like to try out the new house.

you would be o.k. with just your DNR # on the outside, near or above the door. then of course you need your shelter license. it needs to be posted on the outside somewhere near the door. it doesn't matter who buys it, as long as there is one on there. if you leave the house out overnight, you'll need at least 2 square inches of reflective material on each side. then you're ready to fish
