Heading out in a few minutes. I'll report tonight when we return. Taking my 9 year old son today. He's usually the lucky Irishman of the bunch. Hope that a little rubs off on me today.Hope that MURPHY stays home today!

W.F. has a full cap with 5"-7" of good clear ice. It was -2Deg when we started this morning and warmed up to a balmy 17Deg. Fished off the East ramp for a while this morning. It was very slow there. Moved to a spot I had marked on my GPS to the south about .7 miles from the ramp. They (the Macs), were there. Caught 10 in about an hour or so. Then moved over to the west side, to try for some Pike. Fished 4hrs without a hit. Drilled probably 50-6- holes. Had dogs down and jigged a big Crock tipped with a small sucker head. Nothing!!!!! Oh well, brought 4 Macs home for the smoker anyway. I need Avalanche to teach me the ropes ,I guess.
