The differences are:

Genz Pack doesn't fit in a pail. It does fit on a pail for ease of viewing however.

Genz pack has more attractive and durable plastic.

Pro Packs have a 9 amp battery and the genz has a 7 amp. The chargers are also different.

Those are the only real differences.
