kevfish
I just purchased a new otter cabin fish house. I have a sunflower heater but I think it will be way to much heat for the house . I would have to turn it on and off all the time. What would be a good cheap small heater. Also what would be a good way to light it.
hanson
kevfish- I use my sunflower alot in my Otter Den which would be much smaller than your cabin. I also like it warm too! Its almost impossible to use a sunflower heater in the weather that we've been having lately. I think on a 'normal' winter day, you will be fine with a sunflower heater. 18 inch Crappie
The heater/cooker is the same BTUs as the sunflower, I own a Otter Med cabin and I adjust the door opening with the heater/cooker on low, if it is to warm just open the door a little more, to cold zip it up a little more, I found this to solve all my on/off on/off problems. HoleHopper
Kevfish, a Coleman lantern puts out heat. It is surprizing how much heat. I use the old metal shower curton hangers and I clip them on the supports of the tent. I use them for hanging lanterns to hanging my hat or gloves or sunglasses on. you get the idia. Hope this helps!
