ICEMASTER1940
Sir Fish Alot (who was on time this morning) and I fished Black Lake #1 this morning. Fished and not caught you'll notice. Snowed like crazy and the wind blew like stink all morning but while we each only had 3 strikes we both marked a ton of fish. We fished in 17' of water and marked fish all up and down the water column. What ever the fish wanted we didn't have. The ice, at least where we fished, was about 4" thick. We swung by Clinton Resevoir on our way back home and someone had fished it this morning. They were already gone so I don't know how they did and I didn't measure the ice thickness. When we drove by G-Town the wind was really blowing but there were 3 or 4 hardy fisherman on the South side of the bridge and one person fishing the Southeast corner of the big lake. While we didn't catch many fish we did have a great time and it appears there will be another ice season to look forward to. <'((<
