Cobra
Looking for reports on who is best to go with on goose hunting in Rochester. I went with a looser a couple times. H & Q is awsome. I also went with another outfit that was good but I can't remember the name. Outdoor News is full of ads..... but which ones have good sites and know what they're doing? Thanks for the feedback! g'eye pilot
Premier Flight... One of the longest running guide services in town, nearly a dozen excellent locations, very personable and knowledgable guides, and the top harvest in the Roch area for several years running. SCCO9803
H&Q is the the longest running goose hunting operation in the Rochester area, and probably one of the longest in the nation. They are always quite successful and fun.

Kicker
Top Gun Guide Service is the way to go right now. Four different guide services in town joined up with their best fields and pooled their resources to make an awesome operation. I have hunted with Top Gun for the last couple years and have never been disapointed. i'm not sure how they are on here about promoting other websites but check them out if you'd like. it is topgunguideservice.com.Kicker
Roosterslayer05
I went with premier flight and was dissapointed. Our group shot 7 geese but i dident even fire my gun. The "guides" we went with all popped up and dropped all the geese before me or my uncle could shoot. They shot 5 of the 7 geese. I dont really care if the guides hunts but let the paying customer take a few shots! Trust me i wont be going back my uncle has hunted with another outfit he likes better. Coldwater Crappie Guy
If anyone is looking to book a late season trip in Fegus Falls area let me know. I know a guy who runs a top notch show up there and will not shoot any birds for you! Plenty of brand new decoy's and new blinds also! Let me know. I think he is $150.00 per day but remember it is a 5 goose limit per person!
N Hardy
Why do you guys use a guide service? Put in a little leg work and find fields for yourself. Put in a little effort, it isn't that hard. $150.00 a day, you must be nuts.

Roosterslayer05
Has anyone ever hunted the controlled blinds around Rochester? I have hunted controlled goose zones in other areas of the state and done decent. How have you done? Where are these blinds located? Im interested in hunting some of these blinds late goose season. Kicker
I have grown up in Rochester and hunted the blinds as a youngster. Now days come late season guys will camp out in their trucks at night to get a chance to hunt the public blinds. i personally don't think they shoot that many geese. from what i've seen, they shoot at a lot of geese but seldom drop one with a clean kill. as for where they are located, there are some west of town on the north side of highway 14...and there are some north of town on highway 63. i'm not sure if there are more in the other directions, there very well could be. a word of advice...if you plan on hunting the blinds late season get an early wake up call!!Kicker
