MT Net
Thanksgiving is near, time to get back into training for maximum input and plate management for the Souperbowl of gluttony; Thanksgiving dinner. Here is a colorful salad that I found posted elsewhwere about a year ago, (Ican't take credit for it). Tastes delicious and is colorful. Quote: This is beautifull to look at and delicous as well! 8-10 cups of you favorite greens. Try a combination spinach, head and Romaine . 1 each of red, yellow and green peppers, diced ( a small dice). 1 onion, your favourite, diced...try a purple onion for taste and color. 1 cup of diced celery 1 cucumber peeled or not, seeded and diced 1 carrot, peeled and shaved with a vegetable peeler. Shave it in 1-2 inch strips. 8 oz of blue cheese 1-1.5 cups of dried cranberries black pepper to taste salt to taste...be carefull with the salt for the cheese has a good sodium content. Combine all of the above and serve with a raspberry vinagriatte or garlic dressing
