12volt batteries

Im looking to purchase a 12volt deep cycle battery to power some 12volt hole lights and dome lights in my sleeper house, any reccomendations on mfg? or size?

id recommend an optima deep cycle, they have awesome power and can take a lot of abuse, i work at sears the diehard batteries we sell have a great warrenty and are one of the best out there, but i still prefer the optima though they are a bit spendy

I replaced a minnkota battery this year with an optima blue top for my boat.

I am not sure if I shoud use it as my starting battery or leave it for my bow mount or transom mount trolling battery.

I have been very happy with it so far.

I would rather spend a little more if it delivers the power when I need it.
