Has anyone seen bucks checking scrapes yet?

What's everyone feeling , are the bucks going to be active by the weekend?

I have a couple checking them on an every other day or daliy basis,... toooo hot again this weekend 60's!! when this next cold front hits next week look out they will be everywhere!!!!! www.accuweather.com

Your right on the cold snap, I have been keeping a close eye on the weather also but I am in the hope mode that the rut will kick in by the weekend.

Once the rut hits I can't think of anything else that I would rather do than hunt bucks!

In the Hutch area I am finding the deer are nearing the end of the pre-rut. I have some bucks working scrape lines fairly heavy right now and am in the process of working on their timing. I setup a trail cam the other day on a large fresh buck rub and scrape on a cedar tree and the entire roll was used in two days so I will hopefully see a nice buck in the pics. This is a great time of year to be in the stand, although I do wish it was colder.
