rodbuilder
Exude, I have bought my ice rod blanks from Mark at Bluewater in Bemidji. All they are, are regular rods that have defects and have been cut down to size. You can cut them to any length desired. I think Mark gets them right from st. croix...usually a "bundle" at a time. Maybe you could contact st. croix and buy an assorted bundle...you'll most likely end up with both small and large blanks for different species specific rods. Good luck!...also...Janns netcraft has a ton of rod building stuff...good luck!

Deitz Dittrich
Iceaholic... No I dont, however, many places in the metro area carry ice rod blanks.. some get some in from companies that were seconds(flaws) where the flaw was a long way down the blank.. they then send them up here to be made into ice rods.. I would suggest calling around, Gander, capra's, thornebros, all would be good place to give a call to.. to see if they have any in yet.
