here is my problem.

when ever i click on a post that has the red icon showing new unread posts, it takes me to the first unread post.

is there a setting so i can change that so it just keeps me at the very first post on the first page?

if i start reading through a post with multiple pages and dont get through it, the new post count will reset to zero. so if i only get to read the first page of a 4 page post like the one on avitars, then the next time i go in to read the rest of it i get sent to the first unread post and that could be page 4, whyle in the mean time i still want to catch up on what i previously missed. if there is nothing showing in red to indicate any new unread posts then it puts you right at the begining of the thread, like the way i want it for me all the time.
