I have a 16 month old female lab. This is her first full season of hunting. Retrieving is working out really well but I'm having a couple of problems and wondering if anyone has some suggestions. First problem, she whines nonstop and won't settle down. In the boat once shooting starts and we start calling she will calm down a little, In the blind she wouldn't stop at all. Second problem in the field she is a good listener will sit and stay as long as I tell her too. When we are duck hunting however I have to hold onto her leash the entire time because she always tries to jump out of the boat to swim.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
