With JJ gettin' 3 DNFs in a row the standings are looking interesting with a new points leader and others closing the gap, with only 3 races to go before the final 10.
Mark Martin shoulda won today imo, bad call ny nascar officials who thought he had a missing lug nut, made him come back to pit again, went from 1st to 28th! but came back to finish 2nd! Good run in the "batmobile" Mark! I hope he makes the top ten for the playoffs.
Jeff gordon took over the points lead, but wasn't overly excited about it, because under the new points system it doesn't mean a whole lot. I agree with Jeff, I wish they didn't change it.

I'd agree, things are getting interesting. Who is going to get that tenth spot? Even the ninth spot is wide open. I'm guessing Mark Martin, he's on a roll. I hate to even venture a guess on the other spot.

Glad Jr. is ok and he looks as tough as anyone down the home stretch. Those hendrick boys will be a force too. It should be exciting...gotta love it !
