Guest
We go on an annual camping trip with Three other families. We rotate duties for planning/reservations. Next year is our turn. We have always gone up north. Next year we want to go south. Everybody has a boat so camping on a lake is preferred. Anybody have any experience camping in the Faribault/Waterville area? I am not finding much info over the web. Thank you in advance.

beer batter
It's been quite a few years but we have camped at a couple campgrounds in the Faribault area.Roberd's campground on Roberd's lake was very nice. Tent spots are limited but they were nice enough. Also camped at a place on French Lake of which I can't recall the name. If I were to go back, I'd probably hit Roberd's again. They were a family owned campground with a little shop where they make homemade doughnuts each morning for breakfast. Also had the mandatory candy aisle for the kids to pillage each night before the bon-fire.Just remembered Hoy's Resort was the one on French Lake. I'd still go with Roberd's though.[This message has been edited by beer batter (edited 08-16-2004).]
familycampers
There's Kamp Dels in Waterville and Keislers but they are rather pricy for a two night stay, not to mention really large
