Howdy,

Looking for a good, closer to the TC than not camp grounds on Vermillion that will have shore sites, showers, and decent sites with at least electricity...

Camping with the family here before long and want ideas on the best campgrounds for the money...

are you referring to the VC? There are a couple within about 5-10 miles of there. You can choose from Hoo Doo Point (my favorite), McKinley Park, or Mocassin Point. You can also post this question on the Lake Vermilion Forum as there are several people there that can help you too.
