Temple Bay Lodge

Has anyone taken a trip to Temple Bay Lodge in Ontario on Eagle Lake? I am going with a three other buddies of mine on Aug. 20-23 and wanted to know if it is good or not.

I use mostly spinning gear for bass and walleyes, but I am planning to bring one baitcasting rod for musky. Any suggestions on tackle?

Bring lots of jigs. I usually go up there early June did not make it this year. You will have an awesome time, great resort the food is excellent. Are you getting a guide? Do you have a map? Yes, I got back on Tuesday morning. Fishing was alright, but the trip accommodations and food was outstanding! Our guide's name was Jaime. Real cool guy! We caught lots of little walleyes and northerns. The biggest walleye in the trip was just under 2 lbs. and the northerns were only about a couple of pounds. Just plain 1/4 oz. jigheads and minnows. Insert the hook through the minnow through the gill slit and turn the hook bark through the body so the minnow is sideways. We were about 20-25 feet of water, and the biggest walleye came out of Viking Island. The trip went really fast though. You'll have a great time!
