English River/Barrel Lake

Anyone have any experence fishing the English River and Barrel lake area north of Ignace? We're planning a fishing trip for mid June. Also any information on Cozy Camp?

I don't know anything about Cozy Camp, but the English River is an excellent fishery around the Ignace area. You just need to remember that it is a river and not a lake and the W's are oriented to the current. Find current and you will usually find the the Walleyes.

Barrell Lake is is good lake, but it is getting lots of pressure lately. It is very reliable for producing shorelunch size (15 inch) walleyes.

I fish this area in late June and then again in the fall.
