jknoll
Quick question for you experts...I am heading to NW Ontario next week and we are pulling up our own boats. Mine is small, 14 foot Lund WC with 25 HP four stroke. We are going to be camping with some Canadian friends. Here is my dilema: Should I bother to bring the trolling motor and additional battery required to run it? ... Knowing that I wont be able to recharge it once it goes (we will be there for 4 days) Or will I be fine just using the big motor to idle around, troll etc... When i have been to Canadian lodges, the guides usually dont use trolling motors so maybe i dont need mine... Any thoughts or suggestions welcome. Thanks for the help!!! Animal
If you have an extra battery throw it in. An electric trolling motor is much more flexible than the 25 hp. Where are you headed?
jknoll
We went to Long Legged lake out of Ear Falls. Hammed the Walleye. It was great... though a bit cold. Didnt bring the trolling motor and Im glad I didnt cause I wouldnt have needed it. That four stroke really idles down nice...
