Crow Lake-Musky Bay Lodge

Recommended Posts

Myself and three other guys spent 4 days(3/22-3/25)fishing for lakers and crappies. We stayed at Muskie Bay Resort and fished lakers in Crow Lake and fished crappies in Stevens Bay,part of LOW.First day we split up with 2 fishing in Stevens Bay and 2 heading out to Hay Island, neither group caught much. The weather was cold and windy. Next day we tried for lakers temps still somewhat cold but no wind, fishing was slow but we did end up catching 2 nice fish. The third day came in sunny and warm,we all got sun burned, we planed on starting in stevens and heading out to Hay Island if we didn't find any fish.Well we never made it to Hay because we had a blast catching well over a 100 crappies right there in stevens bay.The last day we went back after lakers 3 of us caught 5 nice fish and lost at least 8 more this was all before 11am when we packed up to leave.I can't say enough about how well Paul and the rest of the people at Musky Bay treated us.they did their best to put us on fish Paul even had one of his staff take us out to a spot for lakers, thanks Robin. We will be back up there next year and I would recommend Muskie Bay Resort to anyone who wants to have a fun Canadain fishing trip.
