Sharkbait
Fished Boyd on Tue 10/12 10-3 very slow. Caught 1 perch 11 inches, 1 eye 18 inches. Blips were far and few on the finder. Seen 1 fish 24-28 inches long in front of the pump station on the SouthWest end of the lake, about 2 feet from the surface. Couldnt tell what kind it was. Used mostly bottom bouncers and crawlers. Noticed a awful lot of surface swirls. The lake was like glass and very warm on the pontoon, which made for a nice day anyway.Good Luck Fishin - n - Keep yer Line Wet
John19
Maybe things will start picking up now that the water is cooling. I haven't been out to Boyd in about 3 weeks, maybe longer. John
John19
My daughter and I got out on Boyd Sunday. Fished 9-1, then the wind strated to pick up. Caught a trout, white bass, and a pretty nice walleye. The walleye was 21.5inches and hit a crawler harness. It was a very slow day, but it's amazing how one nice fish can make things better!!! Weather was pretty good. Couldn't get anything to hit a jig in my usual spots, so we spent some time trolling. had a great day with my kid, which is what it's all about anyways!!! John19
Fished Boyd on Sunday, man what a beautiful day! Water level is the highest I've seen it in a long time. Fishing slow. We threw just about everytime I have at em, catching only two trout. Might be time to put the boat up for the year, don't know if we'll make it out again this year. Bring on the ICE!
