Colorado Elk Hunting

We are comin to Colorado to Elk Hunt in 2 weeks. Wondering what the weather has been like and if you have any other info for me. We will be hunting south of Alamosa. Cant wait to hear that first bull bugle!

They use trumpets here in Colorado!!!! The weather has been wierd this summer. No telling what to expect. We have had quite a bit of rain here in the Denver area. I don't know about how its been down south of here. Good luck, I'll be out there flinging sticks at Elk and Deer myself, but up around Granby and Parshal area. Hope you get into them,

The weather is unpredictable to say the least, I don't deal with it if I can help it! Is anyone else going to try to bag a buck or bull? I know its getting my blood boiling and thats not the only thing boiling?????

I just moved here from Minnesota. Just picked up my licenses for mule deer and elk rifle seasons, taking this year off from bowhunting as I still have to pay NR fees this season.....just too expensive to do it all.

I can't wait though!!! Good luck to all....
