Standley Lake opener

I'm back! Anyone get to fish Standley over the weekend for the opening of boating ? Should be good. The water is way up . Let me know how you did, if you made it there. I'll be there this weekend for sure.

Fished Standley on Sunday May 9th. Fished only for Eyes and got skunked. Tried rigging with crawlers, jigging with half a crawler, and trolling raps with not a hit 1. Hope it gets better soon. Water is way high, with temps @ surface of 59-62 degrees. They should be nailing crawlers! I don't know whats up. Better luck next weekend, I hope.
John, your welcome to come next weekend. Don't know If I'll have Saturday off yet, so lets plan on Sunday. Gate opens @ 6:30 A.M. for members.

Dan, Sunday sounds great if you don't mind someone tagging along! Hope the weather coporates. I'll need to get directions from ya, and anything else we need to square up. I'll bring plenty of crawlers and maybe some leeches. Let me know, I'll be around all weekend.

Fished 13 1/2 hours on Sunday. 3 Dinks and a Slimer. Oh well, at least I caught some Walleye eehh!
