Fished Boulder res. on Sunday, from 10AM till closing time. 2 small eyes. More dogs in the water than fish. Didn't mark very many fish for whatever reason. Nice day to get out anyhow.

Hey Mudhole,
Do you need a permit to get your boat on the water there this time of year? I was thinking of giving Boulder a try myself. Fished Boyd on Saturday. Nothing but slimers and some small largemouth. Even the Pros came up empty handed there on Saturday. Water temp was 43-48 deg.

I may be wrong on this, but my understanding is that you can put a boat on Boulder until
Memorial day weekend without a permit.

It is free until Memorial Day weekend, and again after Labor Day weekend. Gates are only open from 7am to 6pm I believe.
