South Platte Park Ponds Bass

Recommended Posts

I fished South Platte Park Ponds from 3-5 PM, ended up catching 3 bass. One bass was about 18 inches and 4 lbs, the other two were small. The water was still a little cool, working a green finesse worm very slowly around structure worked pretty well. It was definitely nice to get after some bass for the first time this year. Check out my article on fishing the ponds at http://www.[YouNeedAuthorization].com/south_platte_park_ponds_fishing.htm

Hey, Do you think you can tell me how to get to the ponds at South Platte from I-25 and 104th...I just moved here from Indiana and don't know any GOOD bass fishing spots.I would appreciate it if you could tell me.Congratulations on that big bass you caught there too.

John,

Take I-25 South to C-470 West. Keep going down C-470 until you pass Santa Fe. The ponds will be on your right a little past Santa Fe. You will go over the river and make your first right, then take the dirt road back to the parking area.
