I've never ice fished there but I've been up there to chase tigers. If they don't plow that road (which I don't think they do), you are going to need a snowmobile or atv to get there. I've actually been dreaming up going there to chase flags for tigers. I can't really say much about the baitfish fishing but Big Creek produced 3 tigers over forty this season (that I know of). Also Muskie Inc has one of their tournaments there. Tigers have only been in there for five years, so they are just now getting into the respectable size range.

I've never been there, but I have been very interested in getting up their for the tigers, but I don't have a snowmobile or ATV, so I'm probably looking at after the ice out. I know John19 is interested too, so let us know when--we can make a party out of it, I hear there is camping there as well...

4 of the fishing party that I was with went in Jan went. They caught a lot of lakers about 22". The lakers were very skinny. They were full of minnow type fish. They also caught a few bows but no big ones. They drove suburan all the way except for the last 8 miles.

Hope this helps. They had a good time.....
