Went 11-mile Sat. Fished RC for 4 hours. No fish, no bites on trout. Saw lots of Blueback but they would just stare at jig or barely nibble the meal worm. Couldn't get them to take it. talked to 10 people, saw one 20" bow caught. Bad ice on RC point, had to go over to goose island.

Tundra, that is discouraging... Where are those buggers?? I think I am going to try the west end in shallow water this afternoon.... How deep were you fishing? Tim

Well, I fished in the bay between Rocky Flats and Stoll this evening, Tried at 6' to 12' depths with only 1 hit and no fish. 2 guys leaving when I got there and they had 1 18" Brown for the whole day of fishing... Pretty dang slow.... Tim

Eskimo, we appreciate the report. I can't figure that lake out this year I'm almost baffled at how slow it has been. I plan on tring some other lakes until I hear of better action.

There was four of us and we jumped around from 6 to 15 feet. Not many trout moving through.

All I have heard is go deep (40-50 ft), go small, waxies and mealies (as always) and fish between 25-35 feet.
