Chatfield Walleye's

Does anyone know when Chatfield freezes over? What's the hardwater walleye fishing like there when it does freeze?

It will freeze over when it freezes over-seriously,it freezes anywhere between dec 1st and feb 1st.You just never know.I managed to catch a 14" wally on a swedish pimple last yearand a bunch of 7-9"ers,but the lake never really froze enough to target the hot spots.

Anyone go to Glendo for eye's through the ice???

N.S., if it freezes over. Last year, they were fishing it in late Decemeber. Also somebody fell through the ice and died last year. If I had walleye fever, I'd take my boat out there. My buddy from the walleye club has been HAMMERING them last few weeks.
