Recommended Posts

Was up at Wheatland#2 on 11-8 and it was covered with a 2" layer of death ice!Too scary to fish so we went to Hattie and caught 4 bo's-11,15,18,and19"-3 on sacs and the biggest on gold bouyant.Took all day! I'm goin back to Wheatland on the 15th to hopefully hammer some cutty's through the ice! Yee-Haw!!

Hey,Dan-Theres nice wallys in Wheatland also.I've ice fished Glendo for eye's and done well-plus caught some nice perch and a 7lb channel cat through the ice!But why wait till Glendo's frozen when you can fish for 4-6lb trout-it's all good.

I didn't know there were eye's in wheatland, I'll have to give it a try. Is there anywhere in Wyoming to pick up minnows in the winter??? I've heard it's illegal to bring them from colorado. Another inch or two on Wheatland, and I'm there!

YEA-I didnt find out till last year,a wyo dude told me when I was at the Mile.Last fall i got a 17" but didnt catch any ice fishin last year, but only ice fished once. The only places I've found to get minnows is CURLY'S in Douglas or BULLWINKLES in Casper.Yes it is illegal to bring them in from anywhere else.I'll try jiggin a Kasty w/piece worm.Hey-bring ice cleats on feet the wind literally blew me and my bro across the lake-it is real nasty up there1
