Change of Scenery

Recommended Posts

I'm looking for some new places. So far this year we've fished John, Steamboat, Stagecoach, and Williams Fork. I was thinking about Delaney Buttes but don't know how that would be w/o alittle protein attached. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks

ICENUTT, I just got back from 3 days at Taylor Reservoir. Caught some nice lakers in 40-45 ft of water and lots of mid sized rainbows in 15 ft of water. Very few people fishing and great scenery!!
If you go, and do not have a power auger, be ready for a work out, as the ice is over 20", but the fishing is good.
"My 2 cents worth"
Good Luck!

I've ice fished North Delaney before and done real well. Jigged one rod with a swedish pimple and the other had a rat finkee with plastics on it (paddle bug). Would watch the fish on the Vexilar come to the lure and then go hit the rat finkee. The Vexilar is a must since they only hit once since their's no bait. Would sure like to try the other 2 lakes.
