Thanks KROP. I hear you about the wind, I anchor my shack no matter what. I do a fair amount of ice fishing in Wyoming and have seen way too many huts go on a 2 mle trip. I was at 11 mile 3 weeks ago, and man is it down. I had spots marked on my GPS from last year that are on dry ground now.

Hey KROP, I live in Brighton. I fish year round, but get out more during ice time also. I've got a buddy in Minnesota and get up there at least for one week a winter for crappie and walleye. Being in Parker, do you get out to Aurora alot? I've caught some nice trout through the ice there. Hope to be on 11 mile this Thursday and then again for the weekend. ICE ICE ICE

Thanks Jim Bob. I usually fish either Suckers Cove or Howberts Point. I know Howberts Point was one of the first places to open up at the end of the ice season last year. Did you notice anyone fishing any of these 2 area? Appreciate any info. you have!

I fished Elevenmile December 16th and the ice was 10" thick. I caught my limit of four fish in less than two hours. I fished in 9' of water near the north boat ramp. I fished with small 1/32 oz. jigs I tie myself with wax worms. My two big fish were 17" and 191/2". Good Luck!
