I took a ride over to jefferson Lake this weekend to check out the Ice. Could not even get close. The snow was to deep!! It is now snowmobile country,I guess I will just have to wait on Granby.

Hey Cube,
Alot of fond memories of jeff lake & south park.
I used to fish there way back in the 70's
I remember the winter of 76,77 No snow I could drive to within a mile or so of the lake.KILLER LAKERS back then, used to catch em on swiss cheese (no kidding.
You know I do elieve the first time i went through it was on that lake.
Thats how I got the name.
Keep us posted on the doins out west I'd love to take a trip out one of these days, still got family out that way.

Hey ColdPole, yep I have fished 11 mile,but most of the the time I will head to Granby or Gunnison. I love catchin them Lakers.

Never fished Granby much, used to get some real nice browns up at Taylor.
Last year I had to go to Curecanti & do a tour with some USFS people, work, work,work you know how it is. Did get one afternoon of fishin in it was a blast.
Fished the river with a borrowed pole and a rooster tail nothin over 15" but they were plentiful. Man that canyon was just as windy as remembered it. You know them were the first trout i've caught since "83" or "84"
Gotta make the trip.
