Well I heard some info today that is diffrent they claim the reasons for the open water in the lakes around is caused from the earthquake in nebraska if you are like me you did not know about the quake. Well any info or comments will be fun. I am not saying I beleave this just passing it on.

I heard the same thing said that it had to do with the prssure crack vains at the bottom of the lakes. It really does make sense to me though. I think the open water really hepls though for fishing b/c the oxygen levels are much better. The DNR also said that this was true. Have to see.
