Anyone fishing

Due to the fact that my Gf is going on her AT for reserves this weekend, then to who knows where, I had to stay home this week. I got out and fished monday and yesterday. Monday went to prarie, me and gramps brought home 40 gills and 5 crappies. Today i fished lake meyer, caught a lot, but they were all about 6" or less. Several peple there, several driving on the ice, all catching fish, but all small. One 15" bass though, he was fun to pull through the ice. Im thinking about trying volga tomorow around 8am or so, but im not positive ill be there. If i am, you know what i drive, and what i look like. Also, if you could, drop me and email about your lansing trip.

I too was wondering where all the info was at on here. I was at Big Creek sunday to try out my new shappell s4000 (which I love!) and did ok overall. Didnt get out until mid morning and immediately got on some good gills and ok crappie on a brush pile in 21ft of water. Fish died for a few hours, then picked up in my 2nd spot. Dad got a 15" smallie, the first of those I have seen through the ice. At dark the eyes and good gills picked up and got quite a few in the next hour before the bite slowed again. Dont know when I will get out again, but it will be too long!

I fished Big creek Sunday also. tried lost lake before dark and it was pretty slow. Moved to the main lake around 7:30 and caught some nice crappies. I ended up with 26 nice fish. The bite was pretty light.
