After bringing in my trolling batteries for the winter, it seems I have forgot how to hook them up. I have a red cable, orange cable, black and black w/blue line on it. My question is how to get the charge to jump.

It all depends on how the plug is wired. If the plug that's attached to the trolling motor has the jumper built in to the plug (which I presume it does since it has the color coded wires)...

Then to battery 1 you connect the red and black (red to pos black to neg.. for battery 2 you would connect the orange and black w/blue stripe (orange pos black w/blue stripe neg)

And that's it, the jumper connection is made at the plug that is attached to your trolling motor
