iceguy75
My sis and I were fishing walleyes and she managed to hook and land a 34 inch carp, man that thing was heavy, any ideas on what the actuall weight may have been? I've never seen one that big before
collegeoutdoorsman
Very Very hard to judge without seeing a picture. The carp that I personally run into on the minnesota river are lean fighting machines. A 30" carp in the area I fish is about a 10 pounder. My biggest one was an 11 pound, 31" fish. Roughfisher
I've caught two 36 inchers, one was 36 pounds, the other was 22. If yours was a thick, fat fish it was probably 20. Maybe a bit more.[This message has been edited by Roughfisher (edited 07-06-2004).]
