Rainbows along the shorelines of all the area lakes have gotten a little tougher to fool. They are starting to move towards their spawning areas. Lake trout in Williams Fork and Lake Granby are hitting a variety of soft plastic baits tipped with sucker meat, depths are from 25'-80'. Look for the lake trout to start suspending over deep water in the next few weeks. Dillon reservoir is producing some nice browns and catchable rainbows near the shorelines, Char are being caught in 20-50 feet of water. The slush is starting to be an issue, make sure your boots are water proofed. ATV's might start getting stuck in the deeper snow and slush on the area lakes.
