Anyone else been chasing the bluegills around? Seems like they evacuated the pencil reeds over the past couple days. I have been finding some big ones in the broad leaf pond weed and coontail off the deep edges of the pencil reeds in that 5-7 ft range. Weeds are so thick in these spots the electronics don't help much so have just been searching slowly and methodically. A long rod is a huge help when it comes to picking these pockets. A small leech on a gold Clam Dingle Drop accounted for my personal best the other day with this 11" beauty. Back at it again in a couple days. Tight Lines full-38955-46522-10431344_78279618174550
