deeky
Haven't been home for fishing for a couple of years, but Dad and I are headed to Thompson Saturday for walleye. Any tips? Locations? Any help? Thanks in advance.Deeky
Skis
Was up there 2 weekends ago and had good luck by 2 mile road using bottom bouncers with leeches and crawlers. Tourney up there last weekend was won using crankbaits going down the middle of the lake.Good Luck!
deeky
What about down by Oldham Road? Anything there? We used to have good luck running bouncers along the edges of the weed patches. Anything there? Thanks.
for-eyes
We were out there on Saturday. We ended up taking our limit of 12 but took a few 13's. Largest was 16. Found a good concentration of fish at 2 mile road. Everytime we went up over the road and slid down into the ditch we hit them. We were fising both crawlers and leeches but I'd have to say that the crawlers were better. The 2 guys I was fishing with were using bottom bouncers and they each lost 2 or 3 complete setups due to snags so be careful. I was using lindy's and I broke 1 hook off and I tied a new one on in about 30 seconds. They were sometimes out for a while trying to get re-rigged. That's an organization problem though as much as anything.[This message has been edited by for-eyes (edited 07-05-2004).]
