I spent the morning on Lake Winnipesaukee ice fishing for panfish. I caught some giant pumpkinseeds. I started in 50' of water and drilled holes in a zig zag pattern, working my way across a bay, and ending up in 24' of water. Some of the pumpkinseeds measured 9 1/2" and one measured 9 3/4". This was a day that I would not have stayed on the ice if it wasn't for my Scout TC. It was windy with blowing snow but I was not only out of the weather, I was comfortable which allowed me to focus on technique.

I hear ya man, most days when the weather is mild, but it is windy, I go with a half shell. Keeps me out of the wind while still letting my face get some sun. And obviously on the cold days, it's full shelter with a little heat........ Love my TC
