Being aggressive on Non-aggressive fish

The bite here in the south metro has been reported to be a tough bite. “I can get the fish to come up off the bottom, but they won’t commit. You know that there are fish there. You can see them on your Vexilar stacked sometimes two to three feet deep, but hugging the bottom.” These have been commonly made statements from Anglers here in the south metro. The bite has been all but aggressive. And I have to agree. The fish seem to be eating well with bug hatches that don’t seem to stop happening and a large population of bait fish. That means I have had to become very aggressive with my offerings to get these sniffers turned into biters...
